Research on Cultivation Pathways of Biomedical Talents from the Perspective of New Quality Productive Forces—Insights from the “Boston Model”

  • At present,biomedical education in China faces several challenges,including a mismatch between talent training and industrial demand,a lack of systematic institutional arrangements for practice-based education throughout the entire training process,and insufficient integration between research training and industrial practice.Drawing on the experience of the "Boston Model," this study suggests that future talent cultivation in higher education should be guided by industrial innovation,with a reconstruction of training objectives.The cultivation process should be embedded within an innovation ecosystem,and a multi-stakeholder collaborative mechanism should be established through industry-education integration as a central link.In addition,effective alignment between training and employment can be achieved through achievement transformation and innovation practice,thereby gradually forming a closed-loop talent cultivation model.Furthermore,universities should optimize evaluation systems,move beyond the limitation of academic output as the sole criterion,and provide stronger institutional support for the cultivation of new-quality biomedical talents.
