Abstract:
Postgraduate tutors are the primary figures responsible for postgraduate education and play a critical and direct role in determining the quality of postgraduate training. For professional degree postgraduate students, the presence of a tutor team with strong practical guidance capabilities is especially crucial. Both general practices in pharmacy professional degree programs and specific investigations at S University reveal several issues, including challenges in the double-tutor system, evaluation systems for supervisors that are overly aligned with academic supervisors, and a lack of oversight and direction in training quality and specialization.Based on the exploration and practical experience at S University, this paper proposes a series of solutions, emphasizing a dual approach of "recruiting high-level external tutors" and "digging deep into the potential of existing faculty",combining "system design" with "practical promotion",and implementing "proactive guidance","correction in the process" and "reward and punishment afterwards" in parallel.
