Abstract
This study adopts a literature research method to systematically compare and analyze the development of Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) training systems in the United States and Japan, which examines internationally mature experiences from dimensions such as training implementation institutions, grading systems, content and methods,as well as evaluation and certification.Currently,CRC training in China still faces challenges such as a lack of unified standards and unclear career development pathways. For reference,China could adopt the U.S.grading model to establish competency-based progression standards and introduce the association-led mechanism from Japan to promote the standardization of training and certification.Additionally, efforts should be made to deepen industry-education integration and strengthen the development of relevant academic disciplines. These measures can improve China's CRC training system, enhance the professional level of CRCs,and increase the degree of industry standardization, thereby providing reference for the system construction.
