Exploration of the Curriculum Ideological and Political Education Model in Local Universities with a Focus on Serving Industrial Development

Curriculum ideological and political education is a key link in achieving the integration of ideological education and talent cultivation in pharmaceutical programs,and it is crucial for the implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy and the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry.Taking Foshan University as an example,this paper,based on Foshan's more than 400 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture and its billion-dollar biopharmaceutical industrial cluster,proposes a "two combinations—four integrations—five steps" approach,constructs a new curriculum ideological and political education model for pharmaceutical courses with a focus on serving local industries.The model,centered around the core concept of "new drugs dream + industrial dream to practice the Chinese Dream",promotes practical implementation through ten specific pathways,such as the construction of teacher ethics and the exploration of course alignment.The practice shows that this model significantly enhances students' comprehensive literacy and professional abilities,effectively promotes teacher development,curriculum construction,and collective progress,and provides a replicable and promotable practical paradigm for the ideological and political education construction of pharmaceutical courses in local universities.
