Exploration and Practice of Innovative Teaching Mode in the Course of Chemistry of Chinese Medicines Based on the Integration of Scientific Research into Education and Flipped Classroom Teaching

  • Chemistry of Traditional Chinese Medicines is an important compulsory course for the students majoring in Chinese pharmacy,and plays a key role in the cultivation of innovative talents.Based on the characteristics of strong application,practicality and creativity of this course,a new scientific research-driven and flipped classroom teaching model was explored.Flipped classroom teaching model was adopted to integrate the scientific research into the theoretical teaching of Chemistry of Traditional Chinese Medicines.The students were guided to actively learn the concepts,principles and methods from the scientific research cases,and the teaching effects were evaluated by various methods such as classroom performance,after-class test,questionnaire surveys and scientific research competitions.Compared with the traditional teaching methods,this teaching model can improve the teachers' teaching enthusiasm of and the students' understanding of knowledge points,cultivate innovative thinking and scientific research quality,and stimulate the learning interest.Finally,the teaching quality and effect were improved.
