Abstract: With the continuous advancement of innovative drug research in China,the cultivation of pharmaceutical talent with the ability to conduct innovative drug research has become a major challenge for pharmacy programs in universities.As a core course in pharmaceutical disciplines,Medicinal Chemistry is focused on training talent for innovative drug research.The teaching team has reformed various aspects of the course,including the development of curriculum standards,the enrichment of teaching content,the reform of teaching and assessment methods,the design of open-ended experiments,and participation in subject competitions.These efforts aim to cultivate students' abilities in innovative drug research and meet the societal demand for innovative pharmaceutical professionals.
