Abstract:
To explore how algorithmic recommendation technologies function within the context of ideological and political education in the era of intelligent media, this study analyzes the intrinsic nature of algorithmic recommendation and its coupling relationship with ideological and political education. It outlines an intelligent developmental landscape where algorithms are embedded into educational processes and examines the value potential and educational opportunities brought about by this integration. The findings reveal several risks: algorithmic recommendation may trigger identity crises among educational agents, undermine the mission and beliefs of ideological educators, create shortages in content supply, obstruct educational discourse, and hinder the formation of shared value consensus. To address these challenges, higher education institutions must strategically engage with algorithmic association rules, content recommendation mechanisms, utility frameworks, and knowledge dissemination models.A multi-dimensional approach should be adopted, emphasizing value encoding and information structuring, enhancing algorithmic literacy among educators and learners, strengthening legal and ethical standards, and promoting innovative development in ideological and political education.Such efforts will better align algorithmic technologies with the goals of educational efficacy and holistic human development.
