Abstract: The spiritual genealogy of the Chinese Communists constitutes an important spiritual resource for ideological and political theory teaching in higher education.Its integration into such courses holds significant value in deepening the cultivation of a correct view of Party history,enriching teaching resources,and enhancing the effectiveness of moral education and talent cultivation.The spiritual genealogy of the Chinese Communists and ideological and political theory courses in universities are highly aligned in terms of internal logic,educational objectives,and practical orientation.However,in current integration practices,several challenges remain,including deviations in conceptual understanding,insufficient depth of content integration,overly homogeneous pedagogical approaches,and an underdeveloped evaluation mechanism.To enhance the effectiveness of integrating the spiritual genealogy into ideological and political teaching,efforts should be made in ideological guidance,content enrichment,pathway expansion,and evaluation optimization,thereby strengthening educational functions and ensuring the inheritance and promotion of great spirit.
