Abstract: As the first program of English for Medicine and Pharmacy among universities nationwide,the program of English at China Pharmaceutical University serves the "Healthy China" strategy and focuses on the internationalization of the medical and pharmaceutical industry.Under the background of the new liberal arts education,this major adheres to the "National Guideline for the Undergraduate Program of English" and emphasizes the organic integration of English and medical sciences,continuously optimizing the talent cultivation plan for the medical and pharmaceutical English major.While improving students' English language proficiency,it also enhances their understanding of medical and pharmaceutical-related knowledge,strengthens students' abilities in medical and pharmaceutical translation,international drug registration,traditional Chinese medicine international communication,and cultivates students into cross-disciplinary talents with global vision who can adapt to the needs of the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
