Abstract: The red archives record the glorious history of the Communist Party of China leading the people to strive hard,which is an important treasure of the Chinese nation.Utilizing the red archives to tell the story of the Communist Party of China and carry on the red gene has significant value in enhancing the ideological and moral level of contemporary university students.This article introduces the connotation and features of the red archives in the new era,taking China Pharmaceutical University as an example to discuss the value of red archives in ideological and political education in higher education institutions,and analyzes the application path.
