Abstract: With the continuous in-depth construction of education informatization in our country, computer technology has been heavily integrated into all aspects of education. Among them, virtual reality (VR) technology has a huge potential in educational application due to its strong interactivity and sense of immersion. This article summarizes certain limitations and challenges in the current pharmacognosy practical teaching, expounds and prospects the application of virtual reality technology in pharmacognosy practical teaching. It is expected that virtual reality technology can be widely applied in the future pharmacognosy practice teaching, so as to improve the quality of pharmacognosy teaching, and ultimately cultivate more excellent pharmaceutical inter-disciplinary talents.
