Abstract:
Taking the orthopedic clinical clerkships for international students at Hunan Provincial People’s Hospital as an example, the teaching team implemented an “online + offline” teaching model grounded in the principles of problem-based learning(PBL),reforming traditional instructional approaches.Comparative analysis between the conventional teaching mode and the PBL-based online teaching approach revealed that the “online + offline” PBL model significantly enhanced international students’ understanding and mastery of orthopedic knowledge, improved their abilities in problem analysis, problem-solving, and self-directed learning, and fostered their overall humanistic competence.
