Abstract: Due to the complexity of new drug research and development and the particularity of pharmaceutical industry, the ideological and political construction of medicinal chemistry course is of great significance. Taking the ideological and political construction of medicinal chemistry course in Dalian University of Technology as an example, this paper discusses the necessity of ideological and political construction, three dimensions of teaching objectives composed of knowledge accumulation, ability enhancement and overall quality competence, and the corresponding contents and methods of the ideological and political construction of this course.
