Abstract:
As leading institutions in the inheritance and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) culture, universities play a crucial role in cultivating international students in related disciplines as key contributors to cultural dissemination.Taking a series of cultural practice activities for international students at Jiangsu University as an example, this paper explores how universities can leverage disciplinary advantages to transcend the boundaries of classroom, discipline, and geography.By guiding international students to experience the “Herbal Gallery” to explore “Materia Medica” both on and off campus, and to engage in scientific innovation and cultural inheritance through labor and teamwork, universities can achieve a “two-way commitment” between cultural transmission and scientific exploration.
