Abstract:
Since its establishment and use in 2015,the composition of campus plants at the Liangxiang Campus of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine has become stable. To understand the distribution of medicinal plants on campus, the teaching team investigated and organized information on the types, medicinal parts, efficacy, and toxicity of medicinal plants, making full use of campus environmental resources to provide assistance for relevant subject teaching. The investigation results show that there are a total of 103 species of medicinal plants at the Liangxiang Campus, belonging to 51 families and 89 genera.Herbaceous plants have an absolute advantage, accounting for 52.7%.The most common medicinal part is the whole herb, accounting for 31%.In terms of efficacy, the largest proportion is medicinal plants with heat-clearing effects, accounting for 45.6%.Among them,40 species are included in the 2020 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, including 4 species of toxic plants. Therefore,in future campus environmental development,it is recommended to enrich plant configuration, increase the variety of medicinal plants, add signage for medicinal plants, establish a campus medicinal plant database, and provide online teaching resources to facilitate practical teaching.
