Abstract: Strengthening ideological and political education is an effective way to fulfill the mission of moral cultivation and talent development in continuing higher education.A clear understanding of the key elements of ideological and political education can offer theoretical guidance for its practical application in universities.This paper starts with the logical framework of "subject-object,fulcrum,and field," organizes the core elements of ideological and political education in continuing higher education,identifies existing challenges,and proposes corresponding solutions.The goal is to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education for students in continuing higher education.
