  • Fostering virtue through education is the fundamental mission and contemporary responsibility of higher education.Embedding this principle throughout the construction of ideological and political education within courses is an essential requirement under the current educational context.Taking pharmacology—a core foundational course—as an example,this study explores the integration of ideological and political elements by aligning the course content with the overarching goal of moral education.The concept of course-based ideological and political education is implemented throughout the teaching process,aiming to establish a pedagogical system tailored to pharmacology.The goal is to create a subtle yet effective ideological and political classroom atmosphere in professional courses,thereby putting into practice the fundamental objective of fostering virtue through education.
