Experience and Practice in the Construction of National Chinese Materia Medica Ideological and Political Demonstration Courses

After more than 60 years of construction,the curriculum of Chinese Materia Medica in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine has been inherited and innovated,and a national teaching team of Chinese Materia Medica has been established.With the concept of "cultivating the academic roots of Chinese medicine,building the soul of professional self-confidence,and inspiring the wisdom of Chinese medicine innovation",the teaching team explores the ideological and political elements of the course and integrates them into the teaching to help students establish academic self-confidence,professional self-confidence,responsibility and mission,and patriotism etc.,implement the ideological and political education model of "one core,two surrounds and three linkages".The ideological and political construction of the course has achieved remarkable results,and it was awarded the first batch of ideological and political demonstration courses by the Ministry of Education,laying the foundation for the in-depth development of ideological and political courses in the theoretical courses of Chinese medicine majors.
