Pharmacology Curriculum Construction from the Perspective of Top-Notch Pharmaceutical Talents Cultivation

The vigorous development of new drug creation is a key strategy to accelerate the construction of an innovative nation and a world-leading technological power.Cultivating top-notch pharmaceutical talents who can lead globally is an essential measure to implement this strategy and accelerate China's path toward becoming a global pharmaceutical powerhouse.As a training base,Zhejiang University,guided by the Ministry of Education's "101 Plan" for basic disciplines,has deeply reflected on and practiced the development of core pharmacology courses aimed at cultivating top-notch innovative talents.This paper specifically elaborates on the approaches and measures in faculty development,teaching method reform,course practice projects,textbook development,and related supporting course construction within the pharmacology curriculum.It discusses the new challenges faced in course teaching and aims to provide references for the construction of core courses for top-notch pharmaceutical talent cultivation nationwide.
