Innovation of Advanced English Teaching in the Context of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education

Various types of courses in foreign language disciplines have strong educational functions.Taking advanced English courses as an example,this article explores the path of integrating ideological and political education into language teaching.Teaching practice has shown that foreign language teaching should follow the principles of POA (Product-Oriented Approach),adhere to the "Three-in-One" principle guided by curriculum ideology and political education,and assisted by intelligent teaching,with competency-based output as the orientation.Teaching innovation is carried out from the aspects of pedagogical content,teaching methods,and evaluation approaches,effectively implementing the fundamental educational goal of "cultivating moral virtues and nurturing talents".
