Abstract
In response to the “pain points” in traditional pharmaceutical engineering professional English teaching, the course team adheres to the “student-centered” educational philosophy. The teaching content is reconstructed based on “student abilities, needs, and applications”;innovative teaching methods are applied based on “student autonomy, cooperation, and inquiry”;teaching evaluation is reformed based on “self-assessment, mutual-evaluation, and peer evaluation”;and the curriculum incorporates curriculum ideological and political education based on “student value formation, knowledge transmission, and skill development”.These innovations facilitate the transition from a didactic classroom to an interactive one, from a closed classroom to an open classroom, and from a knowledge-centered classroom to a competency-centered classroom, thereby comprehensively enhancing students’ autonomous learning abilities.
