Abstract
Postgraduate education is at the top of the national education system,and teacher-student relationship runs throughout the entire postgraduate education,which is directly related to the quality of the cultivation of high-level talents in our country.This study explores the institutional rules and model characteristics of the postgraduate teacher-student interaction in Hong Kong by combing the relevant texts published by the official websites of seven universities in Hong Kong,including the responsibilities of mentors,the accountabilities of graduates,the binding rules and supervision of the interaction between mentors and graduates.Taking into consideration of the actual situation of mainland colleges and universities,this study intends to provide specific suggestions in terms of increasing the frequency of teacher-student meetings,clarifying the responsibilities and obligations,and enhancing the level of teacher-student cognitive awareness,with the purpose to shed light on building high-quality mentor-graduate relationships in the inland universities.
