Current Status and Development Strategies of Clinical Drug Trials Education in Chinese Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities

  • With the ongoing transformation and upgrading of China's biopharmaceutical industry and continuous improvement in research ethics policies,establishing a systematic and standardized education system for drug clinical trials has become urgent.However,in this field,higher pharmaceutical institutions still face multiple challenges,including a fragmented curriculum system,uneven development among institutions,insufficient educational coverage,and weak practical platforms,which hinder the effective cultivation of high-quality research talents.Based on the reality of domestic universities' drug clinical research education,this paper systematically reviews the development status and key bottlenecks in the field,and proposes countermeasures focusing on building a standardized curriculum system,establishing regional collaborative mechanisms,creating industry-education integration platforms,and improving policy support systems.The aim is to provide theoretical support and practical directions for advancing the systematic and standardized development of drug clinical trial education and to accelerate the establishment of a high-level clinical research talent cultivation system with Chinese characteristics and international integration.
