Abstract
Organic Chemistry is a fundamental course for disciplines related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).A central concern in its instruction is how to cultivate high-caliber talent equipped with TCM-oriented thinking to better support the development of TCM disciplines.Drawing upon firsthand teaching experience and the institutional characteristics of TCM-focused education, this paper addresses existing issues in the teaching content and pedagogical models of organic chemistry courses within the TCM context.Anchored in the principle of "organic chemistry serving TCM theory," the study illustrates reform strategies through specific case studies. The goal is to establish and refine teaching content and methodologies that reflect the unique features of TCM,thereby providing theoretical and practical guidance for cultivating TCM professionals who possess both modern scientific reasoning and TCM thinking.
