Exploration and Practice of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education Reform in Pharmaceutics of Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Pharmaceutics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a core professional course within the Chinese Materia Medica curriculum.In response to the comprehensive promotion of ideological and political education across professional courses,this study explores the integration of I&P elements into the teaching of Traditional Chinese Pharmaceutics by identifying appropriate points of convergence.The goal is to enhance the synergy between professional and ideological education,thereby contributing to the cultivation of well-rounded talent in the field of TCM.The teaching team has implemented a range of strategies—such as the use of classic case studies in TCM pharmaceutics,the incorporation of intangible cultural heritage techniques,and the inclusion of real-world TCM-related events—as well as embedding ideological education into hands-on practices.These efforts aim to instill a strong sense of patriotism,strengthen students' confidence in TCM,foster professional ethics and a sense of responsibility,and promote both the inheritance and innovation of TCM traditions.
