Exploration and Practice of AI-empowered Pharmaceutical Education Reform

  • In the context of artificial intelligence(AI) technologies reshaping the global pharmaceutical industry ecosystem, traditional pharmaceutical education faces the challenges of transforming training models and addressing the shortage of interdisciplinary talent.This study takes Hangzhou City University as an example to explore the innovative pathways and practical paradigms for AI-powered pharmaceutical education reform.The paper presents a multi-dimensional talent development system based on “AI-integrated curriculum, practical platform, dual synergy between industry-education and science-education, aiming to cultivate interdisciplinary pharmaceutical professionals who are proficient in data analysis, skilled in AI,and well-versed in pharmaceutical sciences.This approach addresses the growing demand for high-quality professionals in new drug development.The research provides a replicable and referenceable model for pharmaceutical education reform, particularly for local universities to meet the evolving needs of new productivity and foster future-oriented applied pharmaceutical talent.
