Abstract
Under the framework of new medical sciences,the Organic Chemistry curriculum in higher medical institutions must uphold the principles of moral education first,student-centered learning,outcome-based teaching,and continuous improvement.Addressing key challenges,such as the limited role of the curriculum in fostering moral education,passive student engagement,insufficient depth in assessment content,and slow progress in advancing teaching reforms,this study outlines the reform initiatives in organic chemistry education.The goal is to guide students in character development,inspire active learning,cultivate innovative thinking,and encourage dedication to national service,thus laying a solid foundation for the training of high-quality medical and pharmaceutical professionals.
