The Training Model of Academic Innovative Talents of Chinese Materia Medica Majors

  • In the context of the Ministry of Education's ongoing "Double First-Class" initiative and the advancement of the New Medical Sciences strategy,this study focuses on the critical transformation of the Chinese Materia Medica talent training model from application-oriented to academic-innovation-oriented.By identifying urgent frontier scientific issues and engineering challenges in the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine,the paper systematically analyzes the structural contradictions within the current talent cultivation framework—specifically,in terms of knowledge architecture,competency profiles,and curricular systems.Emphasis is placed on constructing a compound quality model for academic-innovation-oriented talents,and proposing a knowledge system reconstruction pathway grounded in interdisciplinary integration,intelligent technology empowerment,and supramolecular science fusion.The study advocates for the development of a networked,intelligent curriculum system and corresponding quality evaluation standards to drive the transformation of the educational paradigm.The ultimate goal is to nurture high-caliber talents capable of original innovation in Chinese Materia Medica and to offer theoretical and practical guidance for building an academic-innovation-based undergraduate education system that supports high-quality productivity development.
