Digital Social Responsibility of College English Teachers in Chinese Medical Universities:Implications,Challenges,and Cultivation

  • Digital social responsibility is a key dimension of teachers' digital literacy,primarily encompassing two major areas: adherence to legal and ethical standards and protection of data security.The resource allocation policies of Chinese medical universities,the current state of Chinese medicine development,and the application of digital technologies present significant challenges in cultivating digital social responsibility among college English teachers in these institutions.To effectively cultivate this responsibility,several approaches are proposed:raising awareness of digital social responsibility among teachers,leveraging the new opportunities presented by the construction of Chinese medical universities,expanding the scope of college English development,offering specialized training in digital literacy,establishing digital social responsibility learning communities,and innovating conditions that ensure the safeguarding of digital social responsibility.
