Abstract
Academic early warning is one of the crucial means to timely identify students facing academic difficulties,playing a significant role in providing timely support.This paper examines and compares the academic early warning systems of 22 higher education institutions of Traditional Chinese Medicine across the nation.Using one such institution as a case study,the paper analyzes seven years of academic early warning data and associated student academic performance.This case study approach is used to generalize the causes of academic early warnings among undergraduates in higher institutions of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China,and to propose suggestions for improving academic support.These measures aim to enhance the early warning and support process and improve the quality of Traditional Chinese Medicine talent cultivation.
