Reform of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education in Pharmaceutical English Lexicology Courses under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Taking the Pharmaceutical English Lexicology course as an example,this paper analyzes that the practice of curriculum ideological and political education under the new liberal arts initiative has not yet achieved the desired outcomes.There is a need to integrate ideological and political education elements throughout the teaching process to meet student needs and societal expectations.Instructional content could include guidance on overcoming difficulties,traditional Chinese medicine culture education,and pharmaceutical ethics education.Teaching modes should be continuously improved to emphasize the exploration of ideological and political education elements within educational materials,enhance students' scientific and cultural literacy and practical application skills,strengthen cultural confidence,and foster professional spirit.
