Abstract
Pharmacology is a core course in pharmaceutical education and plays a critical role in developing students' clinical competence and innovative thinking. However, traditional teaching models often suffer from a disconnect between theory and practice, difficulties in integrating TCM and Western medicine, and insufficient cultivation of creativity.Based on the unique characteristics of the discipline, this study adopts a problem-driven learning approach as the central pedagogical strategy, enhanced by brainstorming techniques to stimulate student thinking and the integration of multiple teaching methods.Through clinical case analysis and hands-on practice, students are guided to address real-world clinical problems actively, encouraged to participate in scientific research, and trained to develop innovation capabilities and scientific spirit. This innovative teaching model has significantly improved the quality of instruction in the TCM orthopedics and traumatology program and has advanced the development of the discipline.
