Application of Case-Based,Situational Immersion Teaching in Medicinal Chemistry Curriculum

  • The traditional teaching design of the Medicinal Chemistry course is characterized by fragmented knowledge points and a lack of diversity in presentation,with insufficient depth in the interconnections between knowledge content,making it challenging to achieve knowledge internalization and interdisciplinary integration.To address these issues,an innovative teaching design has been developed,centering on drug discovery cases and integrating industry,education,and research.Four types of case studies—research scenario cases,classic drug development cases,cutting-edge innovative drug cases,and "China's Medicine" thematic cases—are incorporated into the course.These cases also serve as ideal materials for embedding ideological and political education into the curriculum.By developing diverse digital resources and flexibly combining and applying teaching methods tailored to the characteristics of these case types,students gain immersive learning experiences that foster the cultivation of innovative pharmacy talents.
