Abstract
As a core course of Chinese Materia Medica,Chemistry of Chinese Materia Medica presents several instructional challenges,including difficulty in understanding spectral features,low classroom engagement,weak knowledge internalization,a lack of diversity in formative assessments,and the absence of continuous dynamic feedback.The teaching team adopted the BOPPPS (Bridge-in,Objective,Pre-assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-assessment,and Summary) model to emphasize a student-centered teaching philosophy.Leveraging the Rain Classroom platform,the team achieved real-time classroom monitoring,visualized data analysis,and continuous instructional refinement.From pre-class to in-class and post-class stages,an integrated instructional design targeting "cognition-ability-emotion" was implemented.Additionally,a multidimensional and diversified formative assessment system was established to comprehensively enhance student learning outcomes and overall teaching quality.
