Opportunities and Challenges Brought by the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence to Undergraduate Pharmacy Education

  • With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence(AI) technologies, the new generation of AI tools represented by ChatGPT has demonstrated tremendous potential and has become a driving force for innovation across multiple sectors.This paper analyzes the positive impacts of next-generation AI on undergraduate pharmacy education in terms of teaching model innovation, transformation of experimental teaching, improvement of teaching quality, implementation of personalized learning, and evolution of teachers’ roles.Meanwhile, it also discusses potential problems and challenges associated with AI integration.The convergence of AI and pharmacy education is an inevitable trend in the future, and both teachers and students should actively adapt to this transformation to jointly promote the sustainable development of pharmaceutical education.
