Construction of Innovative and Design-Oriented Experiments in Traditional Chinese Medicine Analysis through “Integration of Research Feedback into Teaching”

To promote innovation in experimental teaching, the instructional team integrated components of funded research projects into the Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM） Analysis laboratory course, implementing a reform model that channels scientific research outcomes back into teaching practice.This paper focuses on the application of “liquid-mass spectrometry” technology for determining active constituents in TCM,the use of a virtual simulation system for pharmaceutical analysis based on “liquid-mass spectrometry”,and the establishment of a platform within the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Dong Medicine.Comprehensive training across multiple teaching stages, including literature review, experimental design, virtual simulation, instrumental operation, and academic writing, enabled students to master modern analytical methods and techniques for TCM,while fostering their scientific literacy, research competence, and innovative spirit.
